Diseqc 1.0 4x1 switches

I have having some issues the octagon brand of these switches not switching when they should, even one completely dying the other night. Mostly the cheaper brand of receivers, fag packet, and hellobox not working as they should. I'm now using a konig make and this works really well with all of my receivers. Anyone else been having issues out of interest?

Take one apart , check if it is a solid state or relay type as the latter is known to freeze up in winter conditions.
