- My Satellite Setup
- PC TWINHAM DVB-S WITH CAM CARD. RECEIVING ASTRA 23.5 EAST FOR HD-1 / EURO 1080
- My Location
- SOUTH WALES, BRIDGEND
Hi All.
I am setting up my motor system with a 90cm dish. I live in Bridgend, South Wales..
Everything is mounted, straight and alligned.. ( Lat 51, Long, 3, Dish elv 31, mount elv 52)
I am trying to fid out exactly where I can find Thor 2 sat to use as my reference. I can get 7.0E (Eutelsat) - so how far is 0.8w (Thor) from this point? - or is it right the way overe the other end of the scale ? - Sorry for such basic questions.... Is there some sort of Sat Map with a diagram of where all the sats are in orbit ?
One sort of importent question... I am useing The standard DVB S program "Digital Tv) that comes with my Mantis Twin Han card - It supports DiSEqc 1.2, and has the Go To function. Basically, even if I have not set the reference sat , If I were to press Go To Zero or try and track a sat - would the dish move at all ? - Mine isnt - only by manually pressing East/West buttons.
Thanks for your help!!
