i have put my pole up in the garden dug into the ground.
the pole is 75mm / 3inch wide.
my 1st question is will a diseqc motor fit this size pole and if so which one.
2nd question is my present dish is 1 mtr and i had a 12in actuator fitted to it.looking at the brackets on the back and examining pictures of the diseqc motor, i will have to adapt it to fit like a standard fixed dish.
can you get a kit to sort this out.
i hope there is a diseq motor to fit this pole cause i sweated my tits off digging a hole and i don't want to do it again.
many thanks

The Stab rotor I think has 3" clamps.

You dont say which dish you already have

Dont worry the 3" post is a much better size than 2" for stability. Your tit sweat will not be in vain

hello channel hopper
i don't know what make of dish it is. i think i'm going to have trouble installing it.
i sent an email to astratech and they told me that the cryptic motor will not fit a 3in pole but another forum member says it will fit upto 83mm.
i'm confused now.

you say a stab rotor, do you know where i can get one.
thanks again

Which part ?

Your local dealer will almost certainly have something that will work, going this route will also ensure you can see it first before buying, mail order doeshave its pitfalls (but I wouldnt criticise Astratech in the same sentence)
