My Satellite Setup
echostar dvr 7000 with motirised dish
I am considering using a diseqc swiching unit to switch from my motorised dish lnb to a fixed dish lnb.

As these switches use a 22khz tone to operate the switch, can i use a universal lnb(s) for both dishes with a diseqc switch as the receiver i have uses the 22khz tone to switch bands on the lnb ?.

It does have the facility to add an extra dish into the setup, but doesnt say wether there is a gonna be a conflict ?.

thank.

You are better off using a 12/0v AB switch if your receiver has a 12v output.
