Hi to all,

I would like to buy this hardware :
- STAB DISEqC 1.2 motor HH120
- Stab MS220 DISEqC 1.2 positionner (to control the motor and deliver needed current to it because DVB cards do not supply enough current for motors)

http://www.stab-italia.com/inglese/rotorsat_eng/rotorsat_eng_hh120.html
http://www.stab-italia.com/inglese/rotorsat_eng/rotorsat_eng_ms220.html

I have a monoblock twin head for Astra and Hotbird (Maximum MBT-22:
dual LNB head with integrated DiseqC 2.0 switch and two independant
outputs). Could I switch between LNB-A <-> LNB-B through MS220 and
HH120 ? I want to keep the monoblock for fast switching between Astra and
Hotbird in 13° east motor position.
My setup will look like this :
DVB card -> MS220 -> HH120 -> monoblock twin
Second receiver -----------------------^

Thanks for your help.

You will probably struggle to get it to work properly, DVB cards can power motors by the way, we have members here who have had them running motors for a couple of years or more.

You can by the use of A+B 12/0v switches control the switch between motor and monobloc, some receivers may even be able to do it by DiseqC commands, but haven't seen any how tos.

The problem is that I need another cable for 0/12v. With the need of another cable, it is easier/better to use a 36v motor with devoted positionner. But I would like to know whether anybody managed to get receiver -> motor -> monoblock (or DISEqC switch) working.
