diseqc switch

Stuck in a dieqc switch to connect my mums box upstairs with both the sky and my dish for future expansion(http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3384), was wondering if there was any way that i can make the diseqc switch 'switch' withouht using a special diseqc receiver, maybe reseting the digibox a couple of thousand times :-), if you could help i would be really glad of it. Looking forward to dropping down a cable for my sky + this weekend anyway, getting a bit anoyed with having to swap over the cable for sky+ to my other box to watch spice.
