I have a offset dish and Im attaching a INverto multi lnb holder to it, the lnb heights can be adjusted to move up and down, my question is how does it affect dish elevation, for example if I move the lnb higher up so nearer to the dishes center would the dish elevation need to rise or decrease?

When you do multifeed there is no need to adjust dish elevation. You just need to adjust elevation only once when you have maximum signal on central LNB. Multifeeded LNBs should be adjusted individually to get maximum of signal level.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I missed that the central lnb cannot be adjusted up and downwards because of lnb clamp :-doh

The Inverto LNB holders were originally for use with their own range of LNBs (with the bullet style feedhorns). The 40-20mm sleeve should be a simple fit to most offset dishes, but some (Sky Zone 1/2 and Channel Master for example) will require a different feed clamp system to allow this to be installed.

Once the center LNB on the dish is aligned with it's satellite for the best signal on it, the other LNB's need to be alinged with the arc of the satellites across the Clark belt, they are not in a straight line.

This all depends on your location, some LNB's on one side of the center may need to go higher, while the others on the other side may need to go lower, this all depends on the satellite your looking at for the center bird, and its position in the arc, if at the top of the arc there will very little offset, if way to one sde there will be a lot of offset. (above or below center)

One other possible problem is beamwidth of the dish, does it have the beamwidth to handle multiple LNB's left and right of center, some do some dont, look at the dishes manufactures spec's for this, if the beamwidth is too small the outside LNB's will suffer from signal loss.

At the equator they would be in a straight line.

And your dish would be an upside down umbrella, making a nice birds nest.:-rofl2 This is where a nice mesh dish is usefull, wont fill up with rain water.

All installations I have carried out down near the tropics have had holes drilled at strategic points.

Big dishes I did in Columbia (dont ask) actually had gutter type down spouts, but still collected junk and had to be cleaned often.
