Installed a new dish set up about three weeks ago. Will it require any maintainance?Channel master 1.2,polar mount,18 inch jack.
How do I keep things moving swifftly? As the rainfall here in NI is quite constant.

I've smeared a little silicone grease over the piston of the jack every so often for a number of years. Clean off occasionally and redo. This keeps everything moving smoothly.
Same with any other moving parts.

I give the my dish faces a spray with GT85 to help the snow / rain slide off quicker over the winter.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Will try that when the rain quits.
