Hi all,
I'm living an hour from Rome and need to buy a new dish, 1.2 or 1.5m offset.
Can anyone recommend a dealer?
Any ideas on how much this should cost me??
regards
D.

Hi Meatball,

Are you sure that a 1.8 Meter dish is sufficient for Astra 2D? I've spoken to some folks with dishes of that size here in Rome and they've had no luck getting 2D.

A 3.8 M dish is a whole other story, obviously... But I'd like to exhaust all other options -- short of moving North -- before considering such a large (and expensive) installation.

Cheers.

I'm fairly certain that Meatball means that the 3.8m dish is meant for 2d.

Oh sorry, I must have misread.

For a moment there I saw a glimmer of hope... But I guess that getting a teleport-sized dish is the only solution. :(

Ciao.

Ciao.

Anyone on here ever deal with Amico Sat in Rome??
He's quoted me Euro 330 for a Gibertini 150cm offset.
Your comments are welcome!

If it is any help, I purchased a Gibertini 125cm offset and a substantial (i.e. heavy and well made) mounting bracket for it for just under €160.00.

That was in Berlin.
