A channel master 1.2 seems to offer generally reasonable - reception from your location based upon reports from this forum
occasional bad weather etc may cause loss of signal
But the safer option is a 1.5mtr depends if you also are placing the dish in the garden or on the wall?

i am managing on a 1 meter with a 0.6 lnb in tyne & wear
mind the bigger the better thats what i say (untill the windy season LOL ) apart from that the bigger the dish the narrower the beam width so it can be more critical at the 2 meter range ... baz

is 1.5 really not practicable on house side.
i may opt for the 1.2 channel master as advised.
is it a straight swap for my 88cm triax with U bolt
fixing.also is it worthwhile to go for a .3 lnb as against
my current .6.
there seems to be a wide price range, which do i go for.
thanks for the info so far.

I have a 0.6 and a 1 meter and i get trouble free viewing (even in rain)... but i was told the 0.3 is worth having if its not too expensive ie 0.6 = £10 - £15 and 0.3 =£50
but i couldnt see the the expence of going for anything over £50 - £60 (unless your after somthing specialised with multi outputs)

happy viewing.... baz
