Dishes still available in Lidl

I noticed last night that my local Lidl in Hayes had twelve 80cm dishes in stock priced at £14.99. I think these are probably returns or unsold stock from other stores. No LNBs, Receivers, Sat Meters or wall brackets.

Just in case anyone was interested.

I have seen the dish, LNB and sat finder selling for £80+ nice profit ;-)

The dishes have been left from FTA digital box offer as the analogue was a complete set.

Hope the offer the CAM version of the Comag receiver soon!

Hi! Just noticed your comment about Lidl dish. Just wondering do you know anything about the systems they sell? I bought one a year ago ( re: ' havent a clue') and I was getting a good reception on a lot of German channels, but since finally getting round to putting it up ( after it lay in storage for 6 months) I get a good signal, but absolutely no stations. Just wondering if it may be out of date. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Crosby

Hi Crosby,

I bought their latest system: 80cm dish, 0.6 LNB, Comag SL55 receiver and I'm very happy with it.

Do you know if your system is analog or digital? Most stations are digital now, but there are still quite a few analogue ones.

Are you sure your dish is lined up correctly? Your dish must have a clear line of sight to the satellite and be aligned very accurately (within a couple of millimeters) in order to receive the signal.

Found 8 dishes (80cm) still on sale in Lidl at Tollcross in Glasgow.

Anybody know if the 28 inch TV's due in on monday are any good?

I'm currently using a hand-me-down 21" Daewoo TV/VCR combi which is really awful in every respect - Crap Picture, Crap Sound, Crap Recording&Playback.

Haven't bought a TV from them but have bought other Welltech electrical goods which have been well worth it.

This TV does have a 3 Year manufacturer’s warranty so at that price I think you won't go far wrong.

Just remember you have to get it home!

i just rang the customer services number about the dishes and they said it was a one off offer, and they have one off offers every 3 months. and that basically they wouldnt be selling them again. gutted.
