Hello all,

This is a link to instructions on how to build your own "home cinema" projector. The information is 100% free, although you will (of course) need parts. I am not in any way connected with the site in question - however it is a respected US "hands on" tech site. At the end of the instructions there is a link to download an instructional video - although I do not have broadband, so I have not done this - but it seems to be free also.

Wow, I think I might be able to find a use for my dead laptop display, it works except for the backlight. :)

I'll move this up into the AV forum, as it may interest a few of our members. :)

I can understand that being very popular but not a very nice object to have lying around your lounge, however a further benefit being it will also provide room heating as well. O-Ha
