I've put together one of these DIY UHF Aerials. It's in the design of a grid aerial, made using some old coathangers, a 3' strip of pine, some cardboard and foil and some screws with washers!

Wouldn't be so great for outdoor use, but it works a treat in the loft :)

I first saw a video on youtube with a guy making one (wasn't perfect), so I did a little research and it turns out over a lumenlabs there is a massive thread about them. Someone bought a real one and got all the dimensions, so I followed those.

Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+
