How is it possible to kill oneself on a Bantam ?

(though on the video, the yoke clamps won't stop the handlebars from turning under the enormous acceleration or braking power).

I was doing around 120kmh and decided to overtake a van I opened her up the front wheel left the ground and I fell off the back :-rofl2

seriously I lost it on a bend and hit a on coming car was my own fault lack of experience :(

motor part nearly finished need to grind small amount from motor for it to seat correctly

thinking ahead on this build checking stops only get 2.5 resolution's on the output shaft stop to stop not enough few options easy option pull them out of motor position them above motor + lug on slewing ring to activate stop marked red

bought more steel 4mm and 6mm thickness 6mm will go yellow line act as counter balance could also fill ends with lead for extra weight if needed

Whats wrong using the endswitches in the actuator motor you use to drive the gearbox ?

I mean to ask , WHY not use them INSIDE that actuator motor housing ?

its the easy option trust other option would be to modify/locate new worm drive stop screw I can pull them outside and make them work without searching round for parts extend wires drill a few holes job done

Sorry blademedia , I dont understand what you wrote there

the gearbox is 80/1 ratio for every 80 turns on the input shaft the output shaft turns once the travel time to do full arc is a estimated 6 minuets try to move a standard actuator in one direction for 6 minuets you cant because stops don't allow it to so I have two options one is to modify existing stops this would involve finding cogs etc ect ect other option is what I am going to do hope understand now

to use existing stops using inside motor I would have to replace this with fine thread to allow smaller movement too much messing around finding parts

Yes blademedia , now I understand .
For a non englischman like me , your lines are hard to read by the lack of comma's .
But I cut the lines and in that way is more clear to me .

I've stored a few (3) very heavy worm gearboxes with a 65:1 ratio , posted it some time ago .
A 36 V actuator motor for those gears would not powerful enough , probably I will use a 240 AC reductormotor .

I got my hand on a few very heavy worm gear boxes , managed to make it play free .
They use to be on truck trailors , loading bricks packages with a weight of more than 2000 kg
Try to make H2H rotor from it for BIG dishes .
Now I'm searching for motors .
