DIY Sky+ Installation

Newbie to this forum, so hello!
this is my querry
Say if i were to buy a sky+ box from say Dixons or alike, could i install it my self if so what would i need. Also would all i needed be included in the box. Or is it a must i have it professionally installed.

if it is possible to install it my self could yu guys give us a run down.

If you buy a *new* SKY+ Digibox, it comes with a quad-output LNB that you simply fit to your Sky minidish in place of the existing LNB. Search for something like "Replacing your minidish LNB" and it should come up with web pages with details. You'll need two cables from the LNB to the receiver.

You might have to give Dixons a little notice but they will sell you the box. If you're insistent and tell them you have a quad LNB already installed and can do the installation then you'll get it - downside is that you won't get the LNB in the box.
