1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 35 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

The first time I flashed an image onto my DM500 I got this exact problem, was quite worrying seeing as I had just got the thing off ebay, but like yourself a re-flash sorted it.

Please let us know the image type and versions before and after the reflash as this might be important for other members to avoid using such versions.

Well in my case it was over a year ago, and I just reflashed the same image (Gemini 3.30 I think) and it worked, so nothing to do with what version I was using. Not sure what I did different the second time!

Thanks redone and conorg for your feedback.

We had several reports that Gemini version 4.1 was buggy and it was replaced quickly with a later version.
My recommendation is to use the latest version 4.3, as the Gemini developers try to put new features all the time.

Try disabling 'Enable fast zapping' in the system setting.
