My Satellite Setup
2.7m Prime Focus for Astra 28E with standard Panasonic digibox plus 1m offset and Humax IRCI5400 for Hotbird. Matrix CAM + Infinity USB programmer.
My old Panasonic Digibox is becoming a mite touchy. I heard a while ago that there was a kit of capacitors to replace those in the PSU which dry out over time. Is there such a kit or was it a myth? If so, where can I get it.

I have a Panny 30 that works and one that's dodgy. I did this test.

PSU from dodgybox ==> dodgy STB ==> Argghh! dont work.

Working PSU ==> working STB ==> works, Doh!

PSU from dodgybox ==> working STB ==> works fine.

Working PSU ==> dodgy STB ==> dont work, Argghh!

At best (a months wait, uumm, capacitor charge conspiracy?) I can get my dodgy digibox to fire up and function for about an hour then it goes south.

Have Fun.
