Can anyone tell a novice how to program a tit card with cas 2.

You'll need the CAS2 add-on, in which you put your Tit card. And of course the associated driver and application (from Duolabs). Simply select the file you wish to program it with and away you go.

Hi jou,
I own the Cas 2 but have not bought the add on. I have visited Duolabs web site and downloaded the relevant information.
Have you already installed the Cas 2 latest drivers, cis471.exe and the Jungo drivers 622 ?
_http://www.duolabs.com/down-cas2.htm

After you have installed the drivers the add on should work like a regular programmer, click on the Titanium card symbol, the rest is taken from user manual version 2 available from the duolab site.

Programming a Titanium Card

- From the main menu in the CAS Interface Studio select the Titanium

function.

- Insert the Titanium into the Add-on.

- Erase: Allows the return of the board to its original state.

- Programming:

o Select the desired file for flash add eeprom (Duolabs will not

assume responsibility for any eventual damages caused by this file,

futhermore will not assume responsibility for the malfunction of

the file).

o Click “write”.

- Upgrade: is used to pass from version 1.03 to 1.06.

- Downgrade: is used to pass from version 1.06 to 1.03.

- Repair: allows the resetting of the card in order to not emmit the ATR

after the programming (this operation will not recuperate the ATR on all

the cards). This function is not garunteed. Any client inteding to buy the

Add-On and the Cas Interface 2 exclusively for this pupose is advised

that this function is not garunteed 100% even if in test phases produced

good results.

The Flash file that it refers to is the hex file and eeprom is eep, just erase the card, load the two files and write.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes

Hi jou,
there is another thread with this problem, concerning the programming of a Titan 2 card. This is the first time I've come across this card and I am unsure of the correct way to program it, Titaniumworld doesn't have any mention of this card and yet some web sites are claiming it to be a Titanium 2 card, but I have not located any information concerning which files or software programmer it is compatible with.
This card was being discussed on another forum I was a member of, and even had a section dedicated to it, but unfortunately the forum was closed down before I could read the posts.
Hopefully the manufacturers of this card will provide more information on how to program it and if the Titanium files or other files are compatible with it, can you please email your supplier and find out which files are compatible with this card, it would be of some interest.
Best wishes
