Advice Needed Does the VU+ Solo 4K Ultra HD have blind scan ?

it decoded there r&d test on 19.2 just fine. Supposed to be using HLG for a better hdr experience

it does have a blind scan option. But as the author of the above post has one, I´d be more inclined to take his advice.
I have a Solo SE and it performs a blind scan when asked, but seems to miss a lot of things that are there when you manually input the information from the signal finder option.

yeah it has the option but it doesn't work. you'll need to blindscan with something else then import those details. it doesn't do 16apsk or 4.2.2 either. It works fine with tivusat's recent Euro 2016 coverage via official card, softcams work. Its a denct receiver you still need a tbs card

No one has reported a blind scan that works dependably, easily, speedily and thoroughly on a Linux receiver on any image on any forum I have visited. Seems that Linux receivers are dependent on proprietary code being provided by the manufacturers and can only be run through a plug in. If this situation was sorted I would buy a Linux receiver without hesitation.

So the non-Linux receiver with Blind Scan is essential if you want to find live Hi Definition Feeds,

Maybe it is a conspiracy to prevent us finding these feeds so like 95% of the population who subscribe to the DTH satellites to watch live sport & are totally unaware that these broadcasts are often fta on another satellite only a few degrees from the one that that they subscribe to,

If they stop making Non Linux receivers as this seems to be the trend maybe they think we will have to subscribe this is why the Blind Scan on Linux is not fit for purpose,

Yet the Blind Scan on the TBS5925 Professional DVB-S2 TV Tuner USB is very good from what I have read here & elsewhere,

Why is the satellite industry no longer producing receivers like they did 10 years ago with all the latest features added,

Most of the boxes coming out of the Far East are just cheap simple receivers for PPV,

What we need is someone with a sense of adventure in this country to make a satellite receiver that can do all that the tbs chip does not rocket science.

yeah im still waiting for a dvb-s/dvb-s2/dvbs2x/dvb-s3/ns3/4 16/32apsk 4.2.2 avc compatible receiver

joking aside, even if my solo 4k could blind scan I would still use my prof7500 simply because it has a more sensitive tuner fo. fringe reception. then theres the likes of crazy scan. checking for rf spikes

Actually the Amiko receivers are not bad blind scanners. I have an Icecrypt version of the Alien 2 running Spark2, finds most things and is quite fast. But it scans all the bands the only control you have you can scan V or H or both. I have never come across an Enigma version that works well with blindscan.

Como tiene procesar ARM, no va nada fino para mi gusto

Chequee un VU+Solo4K y la busqueda depende de la imagen instalada y la version que tengas.
En la imagen original del deco, la tiene.
BH la tiene en todas las versiones.
OpenSpa en la ultima no la tiene, en las otras como el resto, mal.

En general es mala y lenta la busqueda, el menu muestra la busqueda en los datos que realmente bajan del LNB (950Mhz-2150Mhz), si buscas algo determinado, tienes que tirar de calculadora y convertir la frecuencia del satelite - la frecuencia intermedia que restes.
Realmente es un sintonizador para ver la TV con sus 8 tuner de satelite (2-FCB*4) + 2 satelite/TDT/cable.
10 Tuner.

Para pescar, uso 2xVU+DUO2 (solo 4 tuner o no funciona) y 1xDB800S-HD.
Mantengo un viejo FTE Maximal para canales SD (muy bueno).

PIP 2 canales 4K (UHD)...No.
PIP reproduccion canal grabado + canal 4K(UHD)...No.

Check one VU+Solo4K and the search depends on the installed image and the version you have.
In the original image deco, does.
BH has it in all versions.
OpenSpa in the last does not, in the other as the rest wrong.

In general it is bad and slow the search, the menu shows the search in the data really get off the LNB (950MHz-2150MHz), if you are looking for something specific, you have to pull calculator and convert the frequency of the satellite - the intermediate frequency restes .
It really is a tuner to watch TV tuner with 8 satelite (2-FCB * 4) + 2 satellite/TDT/cable.
10 tuner.

To fish, use 2xVU+DUO2 (only 4runner or not working) and 1xDB800S-HD.
I keep an old FTE Maximal SD channels (very good).
