Unfortunately this file doesn't allow for any orbital degree changes.
Of course you can. Clarke Tech Editor Studio leaves nothing to be desired!
And everything can be sorted or (bulk)edited.

I'm not too familiar with these editors, I didn't realise that I had to do the changes before flashing the receiver. I'll keep at it.

Basically you just need to make a copy of your channel list on to a USB stick (probably in a receiver's menu called USB or something) and then copy it on to the PC, make another copy of the file as a backup, load one of the files in the editor, make changes, save it, copy it back onto the USB stick and then upload it back onto the receiver.

I can't be too specific as I don't have a D15 with the newer firmware on it (I'm still using an F15 with the older SD firmware).

I can't get the file from the stb into the editor and every time I attempt to create my own list, even after changing the properties, it always defaults to East and cannot get it to show me West.

Like timo_w2s said, in the receiver menu the should be something like utils - Upload NDF.
A .ndf or .cndf will be written to your USB stick.
Then insert the USB stick in your PC and open that .ndf or .cndf with Clarke Tech Editor Studio (CTES).
You can modify or add satellites and transponders to your liking.
In CTES, West is entered in the 360° East system, so for example 90.0° West is entered as 270.0° East.
Save the .ndf again (under another name to avoid confusion).
Insert USB stick into receiver, select Download menu, and select that ndf.
(I must have done this a thousand times on the Dr.HD F16 !)

Ok. I just created my own satellite list from 8-125w by putting the orbital degree before the actual sat name and used East which was quite simple. Once the wifey wakes up I will flash my new sat file and hope for the best.

Of course I had all the orbital degrees wrong....I finally managed to input all my sat positions from 8-125w. Thanks for the help folks, much appreciated. Scanning all ku sats with my 1.2m motorised dish.

That is easily solved just load your channel list onto the TM editor & this editor will allow default to West satellites 1st.

Thank you in advance

Thank you. Is the latest the best? I think I read 134P was the one to use?
