Has anyone tried to instal Dr.HD F15 software on TM5402?
In case of F16 and its brothers Clarketech 5000combo+ and TM6900super it was possible in this way:
1) Open firmware for f16 in hex editor
2) Offset 0000000010-00 you will have for firmware technomate 08, for f16 22, for CT 10
3) change it for 08
4) now your TM6900 will think that it is firmware for TM, and lets you instal it
08 - Technomate id
22 - Dr hd F16 id
10 - Clarktech id

I would be great to have dr.hd f15 software with spectrum analiyzer and hd GUI.

You obviously do for your own resposibility.

Interesting.... Would interested to see if this is possible especially with the TM5402 seeming to have the same tuner sensitivity as the F15.

hi all i just put in the latest software for his receiver and it changes the tuner big time i lost a lot of channels because it made the tuner less sensitive than it was, this is with ver 1.27 so i swiched back to the ver 1.17 and all my channels came back, has any one else noticed this.

Are you talking about the F15 or the TM5402?

That is definitely the 5402 as the firmware patch numbers do not match those of the F15 where as the 5402 do match

No idea about 5402, I am afraid. What I did find with 1.27+ versions on F15 is that on weaker signals which don't have a lock, I don't get a proper signal quality reading - it jumps between 2.0 and 2.9dB. On 1.25 and older it gives me correct readings, so maybe these two are related..

they could be CJ the quality bar goes right down even when you know you have a weak signal it does not fluctuate but on older version it fluctuates showing you have some sort of signal.
