I am unable to open any channels with an AD3000ip viaccess stb with version 800 software. My cam (3.01) works fine in a Technomate. Can anyone tell me if they are successfully using a dragon cam in this receiver with a newer version stb software. Thanks.

Have you read through the AD3000 section on the site cableman? Members in there with dragon cams. I used to have the same receiver as you and the dragon worked fine. I suggest you update the receiver software to the latest version as it's always best to be on the latest whatever you are trying to do.

Im still on v800 s/w in my 300 ipva, and the dragon works ok. (Well it shows XPlus on the supplied card anyway. I havent go round to updating the cam for educational uses yet ) Try changing it over & trying it in the other cam slot.

Thanks Guys, I'll try the other slot and if no good I'll do an upgrade to version 1000.

I have the AD3000IP (not the embedded VA version) and it is currently working fine with the version 1100 software and a T-Rex cam with Predator 321.

PS and a big thanks to all you guys out there for all your help on this board - I originally bought this receiver to watch a few FTA French channels on 5W before I realised it was capable of slightly more!
