Hi,

I have a PC connected to my modem/router/ethernet/wifi (Livebox Sagem from ISP Wanadoo-France)
The gateway of Livebox for wifi is 192.168.3.1 (192.168.5.1 for ethernet)
So I have entered these parameters in WET54G
Mode Infrastructure
IP 192.168.3.15
Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.3.1

On DM7000, I have set DHCP mode
I am connected to internet because I manage to download plugins by Hydra setup (Zeus)
But I am not able to access to Dreambox from my PC (IP 192.168.5.15 connected by 192.168.5.1 gateway) on DCC or DreamboxEdit.

Anybody has an idea?

Thanks.

With a mask of 255.255.255.0, the first three parts of your IP addresses need to be the same, so change the 192.168.5.n's to 192.168.3.n's everywhere. Change them on the gateway and the PC. Only the last numer should be unique on your network.

If you want your wifi and ethernet nets seperate, then have them as they were, but you can't see across the two that way.

I agree with you, but on this type of material (livebox is furnished by my ISP) it seems that the Gateway are fixed.

196.168.2.xxx for USB port
196.168.3.xxx for wifi port
196.168.5.xxx for ethernet port

I will see in setup of Livebox if I can change the gateways.

The other way to "see" my dreambox from PC is to plug wifi stick on my PC, so they will have the same gateway 192.168.3.1.

Thanks.

Or (and I'm not sure if this will work...) you could try a mask of 255.255.0.0.

Run a dos 'cmd' prompt and ping the dreambox?

If this does not work then you will need use the route command.

another useful command is 'tracert' this will show you the route it takes to get to its destination and give you a hop count.
