I presume so, providing you can run FTP software from it, though some of the edit programs may not work, most things can be done by FTP. The browser Interface should also present no problems.

That's a good question, and one I've asked myself, even though I don't have a mac (yeah, I'm odd).

Firstly, assuming your Dreambox has an HDD, I cannot think of any reason why not, as the network link is simply using the TCP-IP protocol.
As long as your FTP client can read the file system (whichever one you formatted it with, there is a choice) on the Dreambox (linux) box - via its FTP server, then I can't see a problem.

If you have no HDD, then I'm even more confident - but still wouldn't bet my house on it!

STICK

P.S. Thanks Rolf, you beat me to it again!!!

Just to complicate matters I have Virtual PC which may or may not help - anyone use this to program cards?

Does the Dreambox connect to broadband using Ethernet? is this direct from the box or does it have to go through the PC first?

Thanks for the quick replies.

It can connect direct to your router.

I have read that Dreamboxedit works fine on VirtualPC.
You will have no problems with FTP as the Dreambox does all the work.
Your Internet Browser should talk to the Dreambox OK as well.
