encountered in Lyngsat HTML files, especially missing ONID and TSID.[Special thanks to DCG for coming up with the idea]

Dreambox Lyngsat Settings is a .NET application that will download Lyngsat HTML files, and process them into Dreambox settings files. The application will only process “Digital Clear and Digital Encrypted” services. The application will not process “Analog Clear, Analog Encrypted, HD Clear, HD Encrypted, Internet, Interactive or Feed” services.

The end process of a run is the creation of the following files:
a. Satellites.xml (Only with frequencies that have valid services)
b. Services (Only with transponders that have valid services)
c. Favourites (For each satellite and package, an identical Lyngsat representation).

It is worth noting that Lyngsat files have a lot of missing information and some incorrect information. Services with errors are skipped, while transponders with errors have their attributes filled with dummy values. It is up to the user to fix these errors.

P.S. Make sure you install the .NET Framework 1.1, and read the accompanying readme file.

The attached files have been split, open the zip files into a new folder and use the create file utility in the new folder.

Thanks for the info DCG, but I am not sure everyone understands what your post is saying. If there is a plugin that does certain things, you might want to tell everybody where you got it, if you tried it, does it work etc etc.

Dave has been trying to upload the file, but it is too big, getting Chris to up the PHP allowance T_G.

For the interim period, I have split it into two zips and included a create file utility in one of the zips. If anyone is interested in this file splitting utility, it is posted in the utilities section http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/showthread.php?t=27324&highlight=file

I am working to incorporate a program like this that will create cmproj files, would you be willing to help code it. I would of course grant you author rights to the final program. Or if needed the code can be forwarded to the Channel Master author for final input into his programming.

There is a bug inside this release.

all satellites that are like this> 28.2e / 19.2e / 12.5w
it does save the position wrong.
Like this

All channels are also wrong, instead of 28.2 E correct one, it is 282 east
So it is not useable.

xy.0 > xy0 = correct

all positions that are
xy.>0 last digit bigger than 0 it saves the position like this

for exaple xy.2 becomes xy20 > it adds an extra 0 behind it and thats the problem.
