How do I do this/ how easy:

I want to put an LCD TV in my kitchen and use a magic eye (or whatever) on my Dreambox to send the signal to the TV in the kitchen. Does it work OK with the radio as well?

How? What do I need?

Thanks :)

I'll answer my own question. No.

Any things to look out for if I use video senders?

Depends on the distance and obstructions as to how successful a video sender will be, you could use cat5 and video/audio baluns, works well transmitting the composite signal. Blue Delta do an RGB one with remote control command as well.

Another thing to watch out for is interference from:

Cordless phones
Wireless internet
Microwave ovens (especially in the kitchen!)

Yes, I have all of those...

Just looking for the cheapest option (that works and has a good picture).

Ideally a tft monitor and XX? Can run a CAT 5 from the PC into the kitchen but nothing else.

Ideas?

If you want to use cat5, then it has to be baluns, the BlueDelta ones are RGB and have return path for remote control, there are others as well, but without remote control capability. Here

I don't see how that would work? I can run CAT5 from the router, conected to my PC that is in the room above the kitchen.

Maybe I'll just buy a radio...

No, I meant cat5 from the back of the dreambox (scart to RJ45), then run to other location (RJ45 to Scart).

The CAT5 from my DB goes into the router so that I can upload keys.

I'll look at AV senders. One on flebay reckons it can connect to a monitor- would that work i.e. it's not a TV?
