dreambox transponder issue

Hi guys...just dug out my dream box 500s and updated with latest Gemini 4 image loaded with dreamup...In setting up the Sats I just cant seem to be able to move the motor on a vertical transponder..the motor will move L&R on the horizontal transponders...Also even though I have the very latest K** update Taq will not come in..any ideas on the vertical issue? cheers

Have you tried updating the transponder list?

Yes have update the Tp list....I think it may b one of 2 things...

* My elevation may be slightly off
* My LNB could be knackeres

If it won't move on verticals, it'll be a power problem, either the motor needs too much, or the power output of the box is low.

could that be caused by an extremly long run of cable..or the cabe terminating into a splitter to split between S*y and my dreambox? because now I'm thinking logically both of these are in my setup
