For the experts I suppose
A customer has a PC fed by a broadband connection from his Virgin cable supplier, and is now looking to run one of the *ahem* sharing receivers, which also requires an ethernet port.
Rather than go down the route of buying yet another router, would it be possible to fit two PCI cards into the PC, and have it connected that way ?
PC is using Win XP o/s and recognises both cards independently when they are wired up to the cable box , I just need to get the second cable, for the receiver if somebody can confirm the PC motherboard will process ethernet from one card to another.
Thanks
