I've noticed that my dr hd f15 scans in many dummy tp, especially on the Anerican arc of sats on ku band. There is always a high db level on these tp but never anything open and they don't scan in as encrypted either. It's just a pain to always have to delete these tp after every blind scan. Is this common of the f15 or the 125p fw?

Is it just picking up data frequencies? My Skybox F3 picks all sorts of data freqs up when it blind scans satellites.

They may well be data tp but frquency of then scanning in on a handful of sats on the American side, doesn't happen ever on the Atlantic side. For example, I just scanned Galaxy 17 at 91w and four of those tp scanned in with 28 channels....off to the delete channels. I was just wondering if was fw related or if this occurs with others that are using the f15.

As I've seen so far, F15 or F16 never find tp's that are "unreal". Just let them be, including the many data SID's on them, then they won't come up again after each blindscan. With Clarke Tech Editor Studio, group the dead SID's together so you can easily skip them. Try to keep the total tp count below 1000, and the total SID count below 5000.

Keeping the tp count under 1000 will not be a problem here as ku band here in NA is no comparison to Europe, c band is still king on this side of the pond and my f15 is only being used for ku.
