Well I'd almost finalised my hardware requirements for my combined machine, when I read a posting on the dvbshop.tv forum that said you couldn't use the SkyStar2 and AirStar2 PCI cards in the same machine!

That has sort of thrown me, as I had pretty much settled on getting those cards. I'm not sure yet whether I'll be running Windows2000 or linux (probably Win2000). So does anyone have experience with getting these cards to work together and can they give me a few tips.

Alternatively, if these cards won't co-exist, any recommendations for other cards would be great.

Cheers,

Allen

My only reason for Win2000 instead of XP Pro is that I have a spare copy laying around. XP is going to cost me about £100! XP Home would be cheaper, would there be any problem using that ?
