Hi,

a few days ago I found lost the signal. It is suspected that the cable was shorted (cut when receiver was ON). How can I check receiver? What voltage should be in RF out sircuit (LNB supply)?

LNB supply either 13v or 18V (nominal).

There is 19.4V. Is it good? Function "LNB power ON/OFF" works (voltage changes).
Couple hours ago tried to connect my receiver to my friend's dish - still no signal :(

That seems ok. You say the cable was cut, assume you've joined it? Might be worth checking over the join connection. Failing that, take a look at the dish :)

It works! I installed new LNB (Astra19e/Hotbird13e monoblock from Maplin). But haven't got any channels from Astra, Hotbird only. Dish positioned for 13e. Do I have to change something in receiver?

For dish aligned to Hotbird:

Looking from LNB towards Dish
, right hand part of Monoblock in clamp.

In DiSEqC

Assign Hotbird = Port A (or 1/2 depending upon how your Receiver labels it)

Assign Astra = Port B (or 2/2)

You may need to rotate the LNB slightly clockwise (to raise the left hand/Astra portion of the LNB to simulate correct elevation) for best results.

Thank you!
I've got two sats now.
The next step - Freesat Astra. Is it possible to use same dish (size 60)?
