Echostar 3000ip not booting up

Hi,
I've had this nice 3000ip by echostar for more than one year now and all of a sudden it won't boot up :-(

Basically all I get when I try to power it on is the led segments spinning in a circle. It doesn't even show the software version when I disconnect it and connect it back to the outlet.

Since the EEPROM has already been changed....can it be the EEPROM again? I tried a software upgrade but it doesn't get recognized by the software.
