Hi all
I have just acquired the old grey ad-3000ip and need to some advice on what I need to buy to get it to move a 80cm dish.So..

What type of motor do I need? Will that need an extra cable between dish and receiver? anyone point me to a diagram set up? manual not very helpful

Also can one fixed 80cm dish receive both 13e and 19.2e using a twin lnb?

Thanks v much

Hi muro74
The 3000ip has an integrated positioner to operate a 36V motor or actuator. Unfortunately the receiver does not have the means to control a Diseqc type motor so an extra cable will be required for the motor.

The manual does show how to connect up a 36V dish (page11).

If you are in the UK there should be no problem receiving those satellites on a 80cm dish. You could use a monoblock LNB, easy to set up.
