Echostar AD3000IP

Hi

I have just changed my satellite receiver from and old anologue pace to a Echostar AD3000IP together with a separate Aston 1.05 Cam. My question is, after I insert the cam into the slot in the front of the machine and select the common Interface on screen menu the message "Module not installed" is shown. Can anyone throw some light on this?- is the cam faulty?, have I not programmed the goldwafer that goes in the cam correctly.

Aston CAM will be recognised by the ad3000 with or without a card inserted.
Perhaps you have not fully/properly inserted the CAM. In any event, check you get the same message with no card inserted whatsoever, and if so trot back to the dealer for refund/repair/replacement...
