:) Hi to you all! Just joined this excellent forum!

I have a problem with my reciever in that it does not switch on. There is power going to it, but when I switch it on the front display just shows the led curser going round in circles. It did usually show this curser going round in circles but would then diplay the channel no. on front display and channel would appear on tv. Now, i get nothing on the tv.
I have done a software download to the reciever via my pc, but still same prob.

Hoping someone may have an idea of fix?

Many thanks.

Take any CAM out of it, and try again.

Normally when you have just the rotation on the screen during boot up of the Echostar 3660 it is due to corruption of the recievers software.

When you downloaded the new software did the installation complete normally?

Kind Regards

Thanks for reply oldsat,

I have taken the reciever to a dealer and he says he has installed the latest software and also the boot software, and says it is still not working.
He thinks he has not been able to load the correct version of boot software?
Do you think it could be something electronic within the reciever?

Thanks for help!
