Echostar DSB1000 prob.plz help!!

hello everyone., ive got a echostar dsb 1000 2ci receiver which has problem downloading channels. at one point it just stucks. i want to reprogram the receiver and have downloaded necessary software and loader from echostar site. it says there i must use null modem cable. but when i try to start the program procedure it says ERROR-wrong header. what does it mean. is it possible flash has problem and thats why it gives error? plz give a hint guys, thanx

The Echostar DSB1000 has 3 different models

look at display and switch the receiver on with rear switch
the display write U xxx (xxx means 3 numbers)
give me this numbers and i give you the right software

You probably cant. Theres almost no unofficial support around for Echostars. You need to use cams instead.
