Maybe someone remember Galavision at 45W? It was a little bit later, I remember that I got a very good signal from Italy with my first 1.5 dish in 1989, probably it was there from 1988 after Panamsat 1 launch.
Also, some sport feeds around mid 80s was at 10E, during a transition period in which EBU switched its main feeds from terrestrial links to satellite. Those feeds was initially at 10E and 7E, moved at 16E on becoming old and relocated ECS-1, then 21.5E from about 2 years, finally back at 7E when new Eutelsat II was launched. But here we are just in the 90s. Very nice memories.

I didn't know about Europa TV. Strange project, here is the last programme:
People are mad in the comments that they don't thank the viewers, but rest assured they do but in Dutch :-)

Yeah, remember Galavision very well, it was receivable on my 1.7m, but with quite a few sparklies, which were all but eliminated when new lower noise LNBs started to become available. Seem to recall there were a fair few feeds from the USA on this bird for a while.
Happy days back then :p

Forgot to say that Galavision's original name was ECO. It was broadcasted from Mexico in NTSC, so I watched it black and white with my good old Philips non-multistandard TV.
Yes sometimes there was some feed on that satellite. I remember live tennis feeds during the US Open in that years, and in general feeds from North and sometimes South America, too.
