You can change the default transponder, but if you are in the UK, there is really no point. You can add non EPG channels through the add channels menu, but there isn't much to add on Astra 28.2 East, you are also limited to two symbol rates when using it for other satellites.

Add Channels using Service 4, 4. Then watch the channel using services 6.

You can ONLY watch channels using symbol rates of 22000 and 27500. Also, the absolute maximum number of channels you can add is 50, but you need to keep it down to 20 or so or the box keeps deleting the added stuff!

If you want to play properly. buy a cheap fta digital receiver!

It's for my daugther room. I dont watching Sky at all. But she does. I've got 2 dishes for 4 sat. ( Sirius,Hotbird,Amos & Express22am ) its all russian channels in uk ( about 50 )

But I know a lot of russian( or similar) people, who can't afford to buy a new reciever - they are using Sky digiboxes - as it cost around 10£ on market ( as second hand ).
Thats why Im interesting to find easy way to operate digibox with a different satellite. :confused

The software is regularly updated regularly by $ly but only to make themselves money.

If $lywere to make it easier for people to tune into other satellites then they wouldn't be watching $ly, would they?
