[background=rgb(245, 246, 252)]This is driving me nuts.[/background]
[background=rgb(245, 246, 252)]Recently I sent 73 photos of my garden to a friend, I was surprised that they sent, but send they did.Today I tried to send another 12, but I got the message "The files you selected exceeded 25MB limit".[/background]
[background=rgb(245, 246, 252)]I retrieved the first email and the 73 attached photos were in the 75 - 200 KB range but in the file in the computer they are 6 - 7 MB. The photos I tried to send today are also in the 6 - 7 MB range.[/background]
[background=rgb(245, 246, 252)]Any ideas how the first ones got small enough to send?[/background]

No reason to send huge photo files, use pixresizer, will resize a whole folder instantly.

Depends upon the exact method of attaching them to the E Mail ....................

If you draft the message then "Attach Files", the pics will be as big as original

If you right click on the pics and select Send To E Mail, Windoze will resize them (crudely).

(Something like that - I don't use Windoze any longer!)

Change the original image size you have stored by using what is on the PC is often the cheapest way.

You could edit much in microsoft picture and fax viewer which has a section for 'stretch/skew' under the 'image' link on the top. This allows a percentage reduction system, half size means a 75% reduction in what you send.
