EMUpgrade v2.21 problem .. need help

Hi

I connect my laptop to my receiver through :-

1- USB to RS-232 cable .
2- RS-232 female/female cable (9 pin) .

When I press "Start" in EMUpgrade program and I turn on my receiver I saw the dwonlod windwos in my receiver. But the progress bar on EMUpgrade not work, I think this is mean connection faild .

What Can I do?

Is there anybody use his laptop to update the receiver software? Tools plz.

Notice: Receiver : StarSat X-150 D Plus.

Is the cable OK ?

The connection must be

2---->3
3---->2
5---->5

I'm already check the cable and it's ok.
But I use USB to RS-232 to connect my labtop with the RS-232 cable which is connected directly to the recevier.

Is there any problem when I use USB?

Indeed this may be the problem. Similar questions have been posted in the past on this forum. It seems the connection does not work when any kind of adaptor is used, or a port different from serial.

I tried another rs-232 cable and it starts download . But it's download only 5oKB of 700KB and stop.

I would suggest you do a search on the forum as I am sure there has been a post before that tells you to clean the old patch from the StarSat X-150 D Plus before re -flashing...
