Hello guys,

the question is for experts, and i guess 2old can help me here.

after spending a lot of money :( i got an original seca card and took out info. from it using MKF. and i was successful to put the ident and operational keys in a secanix file i had. it worked great and i got the picutre. reading through the MKF manual / How to, i found that record 07 has master key in it. anyway i am pasting the info i got from card here (of course changing the keys, but keeping the order). can anybody help me and tell me which info to put where in the secanix AU format file to have AU gold card.

i will appreciate genuine help.

thanks a lot.

here is the card's keys records.

I just joined the forum, so I don't know if you still need an answer or if you solved it already, but here is how it's done:
You need the PPUA and the MK01 for every provider that you want to make AU, using a gold wafer card.
The PPUA:
In the MKF log file there is a PPUA listed for every provider on your card. It is in your xxx.xxx.xxx.mkf file.
The MK01:
Provider01: Record 00 07= 51 XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX 97 00 81 - Primary Key 01
This is the line in your listing that contains the MK01.

Good luck

Just wondering what MKF is? A cardreader/software allowing reading out info of original cards, or? Where can I get more info about this?

Hello Kid

Don't know much about these things, but I think it is a Master Key File, and it is used to Auto Update your card with new settings when they are changed by the provider.

I'm sure someone will let us both know if I am wrong.

There was an excellent link the other day in one of the Misc. forums on this site, to a site where someone had written a long and educational paper on Encryption, and even I as a non programmer found it most enlightening.

Thanks for the interest. I found out that MKF is a software you can use to read and manipulate MOSC's. It stands for MKFind (www.mkfind.co.uk).
I think that the site you refered to is http://www.jali.nl/satelliet/satinfo/ENGversie/index.htm
made by Duwgati. (Hmm, wonder if it's the same humble person as above? ;) )
After reading that page things are alot clearer now.
Thanks!
