1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 35 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

Not often I watch MOTD but I did tonight and whilst there was some sublime football from the top teams, I have to comment on the Blackburn V West Ham match. The goals in quick succession by West Ham were nothing short of scandelous. The officials must have been paid to take such bad decisions, the 'penalty' was never a penalty in a month of Sundays just a good tackle on someone who slipped to the floor when he realised he had been robbed of the ball. The second goal for West Ham should never have been deemed as such since there was a handball by a West Ham player followed by an offside by the West Ham player who actually stopped the ball on the line which the blind man running up and down the line insisted had gone over, I wonder how much his bank balance has grown by:-doh!

Of course I am biased but isn't everyone.

Sky+ Pace v3, and before that analouge 80cm dish with Prima by Pace box pointed at 19.2e (not very imaginative then!)

Goal-line technology would have ruled out that goal out most definitely, but would it have made for a better finish? Still, seems deeply unfair to Rovers.

Every week there is a decision which is unfare to one team or another, but unfortunately the powers that be, will have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the world of technology.

In my opinion the penalty was borderline, but the goal was invalid for more than one reason as stated in the first post.

You win some & you lose some. Thought Everton should have a penalty against Arsenal but when seen the replay the ref got it right. It must be hard work reffing.
