ethernet card install help please
hi.
we have two computers in the house we wish to network one already has ethernet card installed. i have bought a crossover adapter to allow cable conection. this morning went out and bought another ethernet card to install in my computer looks straight forward apart from one thing included in the box was the card a floppy and a small 3 wire cable one end of which has a soket to fit into the ethernet card but as far as i can see it does dot say where the other end of this cable goes. can any one explain what the cable is for and where to connect it to i include a webcam shot of card and cable not great quality photo but it gives an idea of what i am talking about.
