I've just had a thought about all this. I'm wondering why my old TM5200D box wouldn't pick up the new TP that RM TV is now now, but the new box does? I've noticed that there are some HD channels on TP12054 and whether this has anything to do with it, but when you scan, doesn't any box pick up all the TP's associated with that particular satelite?

Yours, confusedly....... :confused

No, the box will only read what it is capable of receiving, and 8PSK transponders are for HD standard, SD boxes are not equipped to read them.
