Eurobird problems

Now here's a funny thing..I also have an 80cm dish on a motor (i am near Valencia) get everything i should get from 28.2 but 28.5 won't give me London Tv, Movies for Men, Wrestling Channel etc.
Why is that? Got it on fiixed 80cm dishes.
30W is strong 96%/100%, 13E strong 65%/100%, even get a reasonable signal from 8W for MBC
Does the LNB need more skew?
Not that i'll do it as it will no doubt put everything else out.

The footprint is a little limited on Eurobird http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/285e_popd.html# may be that your dish is on the small side for best reception.

Thats the thing Rolf, i put in a receiver for someone else & they got it all on 80cm dish.I on the other hand tweak & tweak & get nada

Well perhaps the dish needs a small nudge to bring it in, it is slightly further East than the others.

I am regulary installing Eurobird round here,and use a minimum of 90 cms.Use the Wrestling channel as your benchmark TP. Fortunately the TP quality strengths on Eurobird dont "wander" like some of them do on 28.5,so once you have them,they tend to stay put.
