yep, nothing seems to be happening on it of any interest at the minute.
Just checked out for any Cband test carriers again but only the beacons showing still.
Btw, did you install the latest v23.6 firmware for your meter that appeared a week or so ago ?.
Edit: ... meant also to say Llew, the other day i said that by adding the Hughes poloriser gave me just over 1dB increase, that should have said ~4dB increase.

Yes that's something I want to try (only used the OMT so far to accommodate the Saorsat feed and Norsat).

... just had an interesting game with the satellite test engineers called "Chase the Carrier" ....
First carrier came up at 18937 and lasted for about 3 seconds then jumped up to 18940 >3 secs< 18944 >3secs< 18946 > 18949 > 18952 > 18954 > 18956 > 18958 > 18960 > 18962.

** For anybody using a Hughes 18GHz lnb.
Sharing this bit of info for anybody that might be thinking of using a Hughes 18.300 to 18.800 lnb for use on the Hellas Sat3 satellite. These lnb's have been picked up from the surplus market by various people. They were designed to operate between 18300 to 18800 and can be seen as this on the analyser display. Using a 1.25 Gibertini antenna and also incorporating a Hughes poloriser to give RHCP it can be seen that this lnb can be usable to just about the extreme end of the documented Ka download freq of 19.300 but with reduced performance. The documented Ka footprint for most of the UK looks very good.

Very unusual pattern of tests. May be the norm with TP tests on new sats, just haven't had the equipment before to delve this deep into the process.

Hi Llew & Marcus,
Yep i think we are coming up to the fifth day now where i have not anything across the Ka spectrum, no beacons - zilch. I have yet to see anything other than the beacons on Cband as well, absolutely nothing. Checked this afternoon and it was still shown as being at 34.54° East.
