I have not read it anywhere yet.
Now at 12341V at the Italia Beam there is a second MIS
the second in QPSK
with already known transmitter.

With my 1200 laminas it is from my location
pretty close to getting a lock.
Thanks to the Mio4K, it has found everything by itself and it worked out well

Don't get it confused, it's the same frequency. A new IS ID 2 was added to this MIS, Mio shows different modulation because the one is synced with the xml that has the correct parameters and the other was auto found.
Look at the result from OpenATV which does not have 12341 in the xml

Yes . I mentioned frequency 12341, but I know it's the same.
I did not stop the filter "synchronize with known frequency"
That's why there is this result.

Blindscan does not find the correct parameters when blindscanning MIS frequencies that are not synced. It returns auto values but these are corrected once the services are tuned and Tuner is selected as source for values in the settings. So, the muxes are not QPSK in reality, this is the auto value result. Possibly that could be fixed with having blindscan looking at the SDT tables, but that would slow down the searhing significantly.

In Serbia, there is no more reception of Nordic Beam (12111V, 12149V, 12188V)
also there is no Italy Beam reception (12111V, 12149V, 12188V MS) .. Serbia and Belgrade are exactly between 2 beams...

I have a reception right now 12226V (Nordic) 13.25 dB, and 12265V (Italy) 13.25-13.5 dB.. on Dreambox 920/Gibertini 150

TBS 5925 it has more value, 12226V (Nordic) 14.4 dB, and 12265V (Italy) 14.5 dB...... also 12341V (Italy) 15.0 dB, 12466V (Italy) 10.4 dB 9.0E-RFScan.png

This beam is extremely tight as the map below illustrates,
Outside of this beam even with a very large dish you will not get this beam,E9B_Ku-band_Italy_Downlink.jpg

This is the future of designer satellite footprints. :(

That footprint is misleading - the outer ring is the 51dBW contour so the actual coverage area on larger hobby dishes will be a fair bit wider than that.

Admittedly with modern beam shaping the fall off on the beam edges will be considerable but its going to be wider than that image suggests.

for Italians residing in the UK, northern Europe, no reception, to use national TV, they must use tivusat

Ive read something recently saying most of the RAI HD channels will be going fta soon - just encrypting the usual restricted programmes

Where in the Netherlands are you located?
How much bigger does the dish needs to be to actually get 1.5dB/ 2dB more?

That would make sense as a replacement for the SD ones on 10992 that currently do the same. They’re widely carried by cable/IPTV providers across Europe (with the blackouts) so they’ll most likely want to keep that functionality into the future!

@Stevenvc19 , location is in the Crazyscan.
Cross-polarization interference from strong H transponders (Greece & Germany beams) seems to be the issue with 12341 V and 12466 V, not dish size.
I have to point very accurately for these two.

I am located near Brussels so maybe I have a little less interference from the Northern beam. So that was why I am wondering if it could be possible to get that 1dB more
