external interference on c band

hi,
I have a problem with same form on interference wich blocks one tranponder from asiasat2 in Perth Australia.
this interference only covers about 5 sq miles and afect reception to RF4000/IR1150 h. the rest of the tranponders from this satellite are ok....
any idea to isolate this intertference....source unknow ...terresterial....microwave...????

If its microwave then you will see is using a spectrum connected straight to the LNB. If its terrestrial interference the cable will be taking on the unwanted signal.

Sometimes changing the elevation will provide you with the answer, if the noise increases if the dish is lowered then this is a sign of a microwave point to point system being received.
