Dear Chris,

EVERY TIME I USE NETSCPAE TO ACCESS THIS SITE - NS STALLS.

TELL ME ITS ME (so I can do something about it) - OR ADMIT YOUR SITE FCUKS-UP NS USERS :-)

Have Fun,

Mark.

It does happen

Try stopping the download straight after the first page is visible and then click directly on the discussion forum prompt, this bypasses the link that stalls Netscape.

Its annoying but not worthy of blaming Rolf, (hes got enough on his plate, being an IE user and a Lumberjack)

Perhaps I should bend my leg over my shoulder's, whilst attempting to do the splits and making a kebab at the same time. Sorry, User control should not be so labour intensive. I am a selfish bastard who just wishes for my NS browser to function - er, with this site - er, effectually.

>Why swear?

I haven't. You can imply and/or think what you want.

Mark.

P.S. Please feel free to answer my original question ;-)

Still does it. I am getting to like this IE thing. It Chris on holiday ?

Thanks to Rolfw for the 'favourites' advise. Albeit, I wish IE wouldn't re-arrange them all for me.

Have Fun,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Just downloaded and using Netscape version 6.2.1 (spit), seems to work perfectly Mark, also not as girlie as I remember, perhaps that was an AOL (spit again) version. I take it you're using an older version?

Just a thought

Any newcomer to this site running Netscape without realising the shortcuts, will quickly get bored of it hanging

Conclusion ? A lack of new blood

It would be interesting to know what percentage of posters and viewers are using Netscape over Microsoft - and I suppose what people wear when sitting in front of the screen

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Mar-02 AT 10:49 PM (GMT)]My recently downloaded version works fine, using it exactly as I would IE6, I'm convinced that it's the problem with the long URLs that is causing the problems and this has been addressed in the later versions
