What are you feeding ?. you don't want them well I don't, feed something they don't like they big bullies, I put some fat balls out its attracting starlings bulling the smaller birds, will stop putting them out
Picked up a couple of used Ixus 105 (the second was an unexpected win with a low bid) on an auction site for £40. 12 mega pixel and bigger lens so better and cheaper than a Pi + Pi cam. Loaded CHDK (CHDK Wiki) to enable interval timer and USB control and made a remote control that plugs into the camera's USB from an ESP8266 that I can control, over my network, from a browser or from the simple app I made for my phone. To catch bird shots some on the CHDK site advocate just leaving the camera set to take a picture every second rather than trying to trigger it manually or by motion detection. As soon as it warms up a bit I'll put it out by the feeder and see what works best..
Put out 4x feeders (2 with seeds & 2 with suet balls) last Friday, but I have yet to see even ONE small bird eating at any of them - must be all the cats (including 2 of ours, + a small garden statue of another!) around here .
